Peggy Nye, Chairman and founder, of Peggy Nye & Lodin, Inc., has been providing high profile design solutions for the commercial sector for over thirty years. Ms Nye believes that the ultimate success of a building is whether the facility meets the needs of the users as well as its environment. With strong emphasis on organizational structure, analysis of workflow, function, and a search for the unknown, projects are completed successfully on time and on budget.  With attention to detail, experience in program analysis, knowledge of materials, finishes, and sophisticated building forms, Ms. Nye has exhibited the ability to attract a distinguished clientele of Fortune 500 Companies on a referral basis.  Her experience is diversified, with positions held in executive management, project management, college-level educational instruction, interior planning and design.  Although her area of expertise is designing corporate headquarters, law offices, and financial institutions she also has in-depth experience in designing Judicial Chambers, courthouses, educational facilities, and public projects such as libraries and governmental offices.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Prior to forming her own firm she served as Senior Vice President of Interspace Incorporated, which was a national design firm headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Ms. Nye was responsible for the initial formation of the design division in Miami, Florida and was also in charge of the Orlando and Tampa offices.  Prior to Interspace Incorporated, Ms. Nye was with Spillis and Candela, architects and held the title of assistant vice president.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Actively involved in leadership in the industry and the community, Ms. Nye currently is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is on the advisory board of the interior design department for Florida International University.

EDUCATION

A graduate of the University of Florida College Of Architecture and Fine Arts and the University of Miami College of Architecture and Engineering, Ms. Nye holds degrees in both interior design and architecture.
