Peggy Nye, Chairman and founder, of Peggy
Nye & Lodin, Inc., believes that the ultimate success of a building and
its interiors can be measured by whether the facility meets the needs of the
people for whom the building serves.
With
strong emphasis on organizational structure, analysis of workflow and function,
and a search for the unknown, projects are completed according to the user’s
requirements and its contextual environment.
With attention to detail, experience in program analysis, knowledge of
materials, finishes, and sophisticated building forms, Ms. Nye has exhibited
the ability to attract a distinguished clientele of Fortune 500 Companies for
the past twenty five years. Her experience is
diversified, with positions held in executive management, project management,
college-level educational instruction, interior planning and architectural design. While her area of expertise is designing
corporate headquarters, international banking facilities and law offices, she
also has in-depth experience in designing Judicial Chambers, Courthouses,
educational facilities, and public projects such as libraries and governmental
offices.
A graduate of the
University of Miami College of Architecture and Engineering and University of
Florida, College of Architecture and Fine Arts, Ms. Nye holds degrees in both
design and architecture. Ms Nye is a
registered architect and a licensed interior designer. Her practical experience in the industry
spans three decades
Prior to forming her own
firm she served as Senior Vice President of Interspace Incorporated, which was
headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Nye was responsible for the initial formation of the design division
in Miami, Florida and was also in charge of the Orlando and Tampa offices
